Principal photography: began June 26, 2000 — shot in Fox Studios Australia (Sydney) with numerous location shoots in Tunisia, Italy (Villa del Balbianello / Lake Como), Spain (Seville), UK and others.
Cameras / Digital pipeline: Episode II continued Lucasfilm’s heavy use of digital production techniques begun in Episode I (digital cinematography workflows, extensive digital compositing and CG character pipelines).
