School Playground Equipment At Smithdown Primary School

Описание: In collaboration with Smithdown Primary School, located in Liverpool, we have designed and installed two exciting playground zones for their children to learn through play within.



For KS2 children, the school wanted to extend the children’s physical play opportunities outdoors while inspiring imaginative play. Our playground consultant, Ian Wood, felt our Puzzlewood Forest Circuit was perfect for the space.
With numerous obstacles, featured at different levels, the climbing frame presents children with a magnificent, exciting challenge where they can swing, crawl, climb and balance from challenge to challenge: developing their fine and gross motor skills, balance, proprioception, strength and core stability.


Since there would be an amazing active play area composed of trim trail equipment and a humongous climbing frame, the school decided they wanted to create an imaginative literacy, role play and den making space for their children in KS1.
With this in mind, we created a wonderful play space with plenty of opportunities for mark making, den making, socialisation and literacy! Our fantastic Easel Tables and Giant Chalkboards ensure children can write, draw and create artistic masterpieces at the same time, while our Wigwam dens provide the children with a quiet space to read and socialise in the playground.
