Sovereign Citizen Leighton Ward debate with Attorney David Funkhouser.
Information is a bit scattered, but Ward claimed to work for "The Advocacy For Consumer Rights" and would contact people telling them their mortgages were fraudulent. He also claimed to be a clerk for the fictitious "Federal Postal Court" Started by David Wynn Miller and founder of Syntax Quantum Crammer. (the method of writing Leighton Boasts about in this video) He (along with his mother sister, and ex-brother in law) would file False lawsuits, Writs, liens and judgements against properties of anyone that opposed him from his POV. (a common SC tacit) Ward filed a writ and judgment against a trustee of a property in Mohave County Arizona represented by Funkhouser which lead to this conversation.
This video was originally recorded and posted by Leighton Ward in early 2017 to his YouTube channel (which is long gone) where he talked all about this nonsense. The video was later uploaded by Van Balion, a sovereign citizen Archive Channel.
Ward was arrested May 4th, 2017 in Northern California, and was extradited back to Arizona. In August 2018 A Jury found him guilty on 18 felony counts of fraudulent schemes, theft, forgery, releasing false documents and false notarization's. Ward was sentenced to 23 1/5 years in prison.
