This is a weekly test of Evansville's sirens which are tested every Friday at Noon but, this test was a little different. Usually they are tested in alert, then attack and that's it. This time, they tested in alert, attack, then alert again. After the attack cycle ended, a couple other sirens continued to sound attack; an unknown 15V1T and the beastly 40V2T, both of which can barely be heard in this video (but you'll definitely need headphones). It seems as though they didn't receive the cancellation tones and it's not the first time the 40V2T had radio trouble either. What confuses me even more was when the sirens were sounded in alert for a couple minutes but what made me mad is that I was actually contemplating going near the 40V2T to record an ambience, but chose not too. Would of sounded awesome hearing the 40V2T run a true attack signal rather than the short, pathetic one they test it in. Oh well, I guess that's how luck works.
Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!
