As everyone knows, this is the famous freeze-out game. The rumor has it that Isiah Thomas collaborated with other players not to pass to MJ in the game, resulting in his poor performance. MJ got his revenge though, next regular game he torched Isiah and his Pistons with 49 points (which was his career high at that point).
