In this video, I build a full body 1:6 scale pilot figure to complete the open cockpit of my Tiger Moth scale model aircraft.
If you’ve ever struggled to find anything other than basic busts for scale cockpits, you’re not alone. This project shows how I used 3D printing and blue foam to create a realistic pilot that actually fits and suits an open cockpit aircraft properly.
I hope this video helps fellow builders who want more realism in their aircraft.
