There are about roughly 60% of words in English which has silent letter in them. Many times silent letters are just there without any
reason and sometime they have a job to do. Few such silent letters that have a purpose/job are silent e in the ending of the word (Magic E words) and letter patterns which gives you long vowel sounds (example ea in meat).
Here in this video I have tried to explain how we can deal with silent letter learning. This will definitely help in reading new words and their pronunciation.
