Birds of Cool : NONKONFORM by Márton Gresa & Norbert Porkoláb AKA Crowfield - Part 2

Описание: Nonkonform is a collaborative project by Márton GRESA and Norbert PORKOLÁB aka Crowfield, two creators from
the Birds of Cool collective. It was on display for two days, May 17-18, 2024, in a dilapidated building
in downtown Budapest.Their site-specific work reflects on the ontology of contemporary society,
creating an immersive, nonconformist expanded space where their suggestive creation served as a
note pinned to the grand global message board.
The project's starting point and fundamental premise is that the rapid development serving 21st-
century society results in such an accumulation of knowledge through scientific and technological
innovations that it becomes incomprehensible to individuals. Consequently, the life of modern
humans increasingly resembles that of ancient, primitive societies, as they no longer understand the
world they live in but only use it. The concept of human-centeredness and the position of humans
are represented in the conformity of identity-less consumer culture, while we increasingly approach
singularity.
