Believe it or not, I actually began to work on this back in February 2025 (maybe in January, but I don't remember).

Software and hardware used:
Early 2009 iMac (Computer)
GarageBand (DAW)
Yamaha reface YC (instrument used to play along)
Yamaha YC7 (foot controller used to control the volume of the reface YC)

For the part where I played the descant, a few notes had to be changed to fit the harmony of the song. If I had played it as is, it would sound dissonant. This is because when the descant is used, a different chord progression with different harmonies is being used, which was completely absent from this version of the song.

In this arrangement, I played the descant part twice, which does not happen when it's normally done. My apologies if this sounds unorthodox to you.

And for those who know about the reface YC (or the entire Reface series for that matter) the YC is capable of making organ sounds, including rotary organ sounds. In the song, you can hear a rotary organ accompanying the piano part at the start of the third verse. That's not coming from the reface YC, as that the rotary organ sound was part of the original track. Instead, the reface YC part is actually playing what sounds like a church organ. It was set to Wave type Y (emulation of Yamaha's YC series of organs), with the Leslie emulation set to off. And, of course, the "drawbars" (they're technically sliders) were set accordingly.

I think I may have a picture of the YC with this setting, but I don't know where I stored it on.
