This little colony of bees was heading for a stored hive but arrived an hour behind a much larger swarm and because it was getting dark they settle under the roof awning for the night.

Ethan got up on a ladder and carefully searched for the queen so we could safely move the colony into a catch box. We carefully placed as many bees as we could into the box and then positioned it on the roof near the resting colony, so by the morning they had all moved in.
