Indonesian International Medical Olympiad (IMO) 2022: Research Competition

Описание: The 12th Indonesian International Medical Olympiad (IMO) 2022 is the most prominent international medical olympiad in Indonesia which is highly desired by countless medical students across Indonesia. IMO is an annual agenda by Indonesian Medical Student Executive Boards’ Association (ISMKI) that has been held in various different places all over Indonesia. This year, the Medical Faculty of Ciputra University is honorably given the opportunity to become host of The 12th IMO 2022.

IMO UC 2022 this year is about “Upgrading the Future of Medicine with Digitalization 5.0”. We live alongside technology right now. Technology will continuously develop and will be very supportive towards the medical world in the future. This is the reason why we carry out this theme.

IMO 2022 will be divided into 6 categories of medical olympiad competitions, specifically Cardiorespiratory, Digestive, Genitourinary, Musculoskeletal, Neuropsychiatry, and Infectious Diseases. Each category will be divided into 3 stages, which are the preliminary stage, semi-final stage, and final stage. Besides that, IMO 2022 will also hold an
International Research Competition that aims to explore medical students’ potential for conducting competitive research that can inspire the medical field. It will be divided into two stages, specifically the abstract submission and oral presentation.

There are also other events, namely the opening ceremony, symposium, farewell party and awarding night. These events aim to build participant’s professionalism as a health worker and connect between participants outside the main Olympiad Competitions.
