Welcome back to my crafty corner! 🧵🐓 This week has been filled with quilting, cross stitch, knitting, and crochet projects. I’ve been working on a rooster-themed placemat and table runner set featuring the Garden Gate Rooster panel designed by Susan Winget.
I also started a new cross stitch with the sweetest vintage vibe, “Life is sweet" and made some good progress on my WIPGO project, Chicken Feed Sack. On the knitting side, my Nurmilintu Shawl (pattern by Heidi Alander) is growing nicely, and I even did a little “fit test” of the crochet cardigan I’m making for my daughter — sleeves and gussets are in progress!
And because I can’t resist starting something new (can anyone relate? 😂), I’ve begun a granny square crochet cardigan for my granddaughter, loosely sizing it for age 5. Lastly, I almost worked on my Beatrix Potter quilt… but since English Paper Piecing isn’t really my cup of tea, I’m trying bigger nesting hexagon templates utilising a quilt-as-you-go method instead. I love it and cannot stop stitching, so inspired!
Stick around as I share my progress, a few crafty laughs, and maybe inspire your own WIPs!
