KTM 890 Adventure & KTM 390 Adventure - Utah BDR Northern Section 6 to Bear Lake

With me on my new 2022 KTM 890 Adventure (standard) and my son on his 2020 KTM 390 Adventure we set out to ride the northern portion of section 6 of the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) ending at Bear Lake. This is our first adventure ride together as new adventurists. I do a short comparison of the bikes during the video as well as talking about my new Motoz Tractionator tires and share thoughts about GPS navigation. We launch from Mountain Green, Utah and travel up to Monte Cristo where we meet dirt and the final section of the Utah BDR. We visit the grave of Old Ephraim the Grizzly Bear and in all cover 220 miles in a 24 hour period. It was beautiful country and a joy to see.
I am including a link to the Gaia GPS route that we followed. Of note, we did not do the loop north of Bear Lake on this trip that is included in the Gaia route.
