In this Tutorial I am going to show you how to make a simple TV-B-GONE with an Arduino UNO.
Things You will need:
1 or more Infrared LED (you can get them from an old TV remote or buy them cheap online)
A few jumper cable
Optional:
A button (if you don't have a button, connect pin 1 directly to Ground. The Arduino will start sending the codes as soon as you turn it on)
A Status LED. (You can leave it out and the led on the Arduino Board will light up instead)

Unzip the file and put the TVBGONE folder into your libraries folder in your Arduino installation path.
The Arduino IDE: (You have to use version 1.0.6!)

If you want to take the project a little bit further you can solder your own shield like me in the intro. It is more professional and much nicer than on the breadboard.
