This song is an offering of gratitude, praising the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, the One who hears the cries of all beings and responds with boundless mercy. May all who hear the sacred mantra of Avalokiteśvara receive blessings of health and happiness, wisdom and liberation, and auspicious fulfillment in their lives.

Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva listens to the suffering voices of the world. Whether beings are trapped in fire, water, danger, or fear, as long as one sincerely recites the Bodhisattva’s heart-mantra or holy name, the Bodhisattva will follow the sound and manifest to offer protection, turn misfortune into blessing, dispel obstacles, increase merit and wisdom, and bestow immeasurable benefit and auspiciousness. With a heart of great compassion, Guanyin rescues all beings without discrimination. By faithfully reciting the heart-mantra of Avalokiteśvara, one receives the Bodhisattva’s blessings and protection, bringing peace, clarity, and auspicious harmony.
