Deacon Blue’s third tour down under, this one following a lot closer than their second, left no doubts as to how much Australian audiences love them. And they seemed pretty happy to be back here too. Their concerts are always festive occasions with plenty of energy and audience participation. This tour was entitled “All the Old 45s: The Best of Deacon Blue”, and while there were one or two other hits I would have liked to have heard too, the 22 songs they did play were excellent.
