Описание: On January 23, 2025, the city of Burgos will host the EAGLE Conference, a European event focused on the "Challenges in digital skills in SMEs".

This conference seeks to address the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation process, as well as the need to develop key digital skills.

The inauguration will be attended by prominent personalities, such as the president of the Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos (FAE), the rector of the University of Burgos, the General Director of Telecommunications and Digital Administration of the Junta de Castilla y León and the mayor of Burgos.
The keynote speech will be given by Luis Ignacio Vicente de Olmo, CIO of ABB – ASTI Mobile Robotics and Strategic Advisor of Pons IP, who will reflect on "The challenges in digital transformation and digital skills faced by SMEs".

The conference will include two panel discussions that will address key topics in today's digital landscape:
1. Business Intelligence and Data Analysis: In this table, experts from companies such as CSA - Advanced Services Centre, Aciturri Aeronáutica and ITCL Technology Centre will explore how to promote data culture, guarantee training in digital skills, promote business innovation and optimise processes. They will also highlight the integration of analytics into corporate strategy as a necessity to adapt to a dynamic environment.

2. New Digital Professions and STEM Challenges: This table will analyse the main challenges of studying and working in STEM areas, including academic demands, technological complexity, constant updating and the link between studies and the needs of the labour market. Companies such as Nicolás Correa, Skretting, and entities such as FP Burgos and the University of Burgos will participate.
The EAGLE Conference is positioned as an engine for progress and training, facilitating the connection between academic talent and the real demands of the business fabric, which is key to successfully facing the challenges of digital transformation.

The event, which will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish, will be held in the auditorium of FAE Burgos (Plaza Castilla 1, Burgos, Spain) and can also be followed via streaming through the YouTube platform.

At the end, Bruno Baruque Zanon, from the University of Burgos and coordinator of the EAGLE project, will present the conclusions of the meeting, synthesizing key learnings and visions of the future for SMEs in the digital age.
