THAT’S IT! WE HAVE FINALLY FINISHED IT!
After 3 years of digging holes in the dead of night surrounded by magical mountain beasts, we set out on a mission to create the most thoughtful compost toilet design the world had ever seen, a design that lives in harmony with nature, saves us 75,000 litres of water each year, and creates valuable compost for our trees. It’s taken us 8 solid months, and in this time we’ve pushed ourselves to the limit of sanity (genuinely a little over the limit for Robbie), we’ve had some heated debates, some great challenges, and some magical moments too. Anyway get comfortable, sit back and enjoy the finale!

Our story:
We are Emilia, Robbie & Sage, we left our city lives behind and moved to the top of a mountain in Spain, to live off-grid. We’ve spent two years alone, renovating an old stone house and restoring the abandoned land. Join us as we continue to build our off-grid homestead, and become self-sufficient from the land.
