If you’ve followed us on all the social media platform, let’s head straight into the Samsung Galaxy S10e review. And I would like to begin the things with the display. The phone comes with a small form factor packing a 5.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. But if you do the Samsung Galaxy S10e vs iPhone X or XS comparison, the S10e looks smaller. It is because of the narrow bezels and all screen display. Unlike the iPhone X and XS Max, there is no notch on the S10e.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e features a small circular cutout, that’s why the display is called punch-hole display. Even in terms of display quality, S10e looks better when we do Samsung Galaxy S10e vs Pixel 3 and Samsung S10e vs Huawei P30 Pro comparison. The display here is HDR 10+ compliant and the display itself filters the blue lights to save the users from the eyestrain. On comparing Samsung S10e vs iPhone XR, S10e leaves the XR by miles behind. But on the Samsung Galaxy S10e vs S10 Plus display comparison, the bigger S10 Plus looks quite better because of the Quad-HD+ resolution.

On the performance side, the phone gets either Snapdragon 855 or the Samsung’s Exynos 9820. The one we reviewed has a Exynos 9820 chip with 6GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S10e Exynos 9820 variant is no slouch when it comes to the performance. But when we compare the Snapdragon 855 vs Exynos 9820 chipset, the Exynos variant lacks quite behind in the benchmark tests. So if we compare the Samsung S10e vs Oneplus 7, S10e will remain behind on the benchmark side.

Now continuing with the Samsung Galaxy S10e specs, let’s talk about the camera. The phone features dual camera setup at the back. But unlike the Galaxy Note 9, the Samsung Galaxy S10e camera comprises of a 12MP primary shooter with 16MP of ultra-wide-angle lens alongside. So apart from talking portrait images, the secondary shooter is also quite useful on expanding the field of view of the subject.

On our Samsung S10e camera review, we tested the camera prowess on various settings and profiles and the device captured images with amazing color accuracy, stunning dynamic range, and respectable sharpness. So there is nothing to complain here. If there was an additional telephoto lens, the camera would’ve been more versatile and I would have liked that. But since it’s the affordable flagship device, I couldn’t complain especially at a time when Apple is providing a single rear camera on the iPhone XR.

But what I was not pleased about the device while doing the Samsung Galaxy S10e camera review is that the device doesn’t have a night mode feature to enhance the image brightness and sharpness during the low light condition. But it’s nothing to worry since Samsung S10e Night Mode feature is rolling out through the software update. After the update, I hope that the Samsung S10e Low Light images would be on par with the Huawei P30 Pro shots.

Now let’s talk about the Samsung Galaxy s10e battery. And it’s the place Samsung has been really tightfisted. The handset comes with a merely 3100mAh battery, which fails to back the device for one complete day on the normal use. So needless to say that the Samsung S10e battery life is absolutely frustrating. Charging the device is not free from trouble. While I performed the Samsung Galaxy S10e charging test, the device took exactly 95 minutes to refill the device from 0 to 100%. Given the size of the battery, it’s quite a lot.
