This agency regulates locum tenens agencies and provides guidelines and best practices for these agencies to work together and not fight with each other on who has 'ownership' rights to working with a physician.

While these rules are set up to look out for the best interest of physicians and clients; there are agencies that take advantage of these 'ownership' rules and do things like send out a physicians CV without their knowledge, binding them to working with that agency even if they don't have a good relationship with a facility.

You have the right to work with multiple agencies. You have the right to know the locations of the hospitals that they are sending your CV to. You also should receive confirmation letters and presentation letters that help you keep track of where your CV is being sent to; as well as the deals that have been confirmed.
