A lot of persons has believed that salvation is earned by Grace but we need to work also to get or maintain it. This excerpt brings a balance.
We are saved basically by God's Grace through Faith in Christ Jesus.
This Grace we have received produces good works. Good works does not produce this grace.
Heaven for the man that has believed in Jesus is no longer a reward but where he lives in now presently.
We give glory to God when we say that he has saved us!. We are the saved not the saviour and Jesus is a perfect saviour that keeps those he has saved to the end.
The Book of Galatians was dedicated strictly to admonish those that started with the Spirit but now moving to the flesh. The whole Epistles writes about being saved by Grace! not of works. Works are produce of our faith in God.
