Welcome to Northern Thailand also known as Elephant Country, a land full of history and heritage where the elephant is the country’s national animal, a religious symbol and even has royal status. Beyond the mountainous landscapes and lush jungles of Northern Thailand lies the Elephant Nature Park and a handful of other ethical sanctuaries serving as havens for the gentlest of creatures.
A portion of the proceeds from this race will go to the International Elephant Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to protecting Asian Elephants.
