LOOK OUT FOR ROAD MARKINGS WHEN GOING STRAIGHT AHEAD AT A ROUNDABOUT

Professional motorcycle training is essential, especially when dealing with complex roundabout layouts. Your local motorcycle training school will ensure you know how to deal safely with various roundabouts. On the Module Two motorcycle test the examiner will say, “At the roundabout follow the road ahead, the second exit.”
You must use the OSMPSL routine and approach with a reduced speed, in the correct gear and with a dominating road position in the centre of your lane. Take notice of any road markings and if there aren’t any, use the left hand lane. The approach is the same as for turning left, but without the need to signal which tells other road users you intend to go straight ahead at the roundabout
