Avro Lancaster PA474 returns to Chester Hawarden Airport, where it was built 80 years ago. The aircraft now forms part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight display, and is 1 of only 2 Lancaster Bombers which still fly.
This video shows the aircraft landing on May 30th 2025, and departing on May 31st 2025 - 80 years to the day since it left the factory.
This extended video also shows some of the other planes around at the same time, including two Spitfires which also form part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a Spitfire 2-seater Experience plane and some smaller propellor planes.
