FANTASTIC Indian Food! I Try PANEER PAKORA 🇮🇳 🇺🇸 Chicken Kali Mirch, Gulab Jamun

Paneer Pakora (पनीर पकोड़ा) $6.99 - Marinated cottage cheese is dipped in a batter and fried to make a crispy, mouthwatering appetizer.
CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH! I loved the crispiness of the paneer pakora! The cheese had a mild flavor to it. The texture was firm and had a good bite to it. I think it is a good appetizer and had some spices which I liked. Dip it in the tamarind chutney if you have any. Surprisingly the flavors worked!

Papadam Naan $0 – Crispy Flatbread
These flatbreads were really crispy and thin. They were similar to crackers. In hindsight, it looks like taco shells – they were actually thinner though. Had a great taste to them – there were these black seeds that gave it a nutty and almost peppery taste. The mint and tamarind chutney came with it and they were both delicious. Thanks to the restaurant for hooking this up for free!

Chicken Kali Mirch (चिकन काली मिर्च) $14.99 - Chicken cooked with fresh onion tomato paste & black pepper - fresh grind only. Comes with side of Basmati Rice.
Amazing curry dish! The flavors on the chicken kali mirch were really flavorful. I got so much rich tomato and peper taste from it. Intense flavors – really delicious. Chicken paired great with it – tender too! Pairing the sauce with the basmati rice was the best! Chicken was nice but I think the star of the show was the curry. Had some heat (asked for medium spice) but it definitely wasn’t overpowering. Awesome dish – definitely would recommend this!

Cheese Naan (पनीर नान) $4.99 - Signature 5 cheese blend inside hot naan! Cheese it up!
Naan and cheese – need I say more? I knew this would be good before I tried it. How can you go wrong with bread and naan right? I took a big bite right as it came out and wow – the cheese was so soft and melted and the bread was still steaming. I would definitely have this any time of the day.

Gulab Jamun (गुलाब जामुन) $4.99 - Soft, spongy and melt in mouth ‘gulab-jamuns' drenched in delicately flavored sugar syrup is a traditional sweet in India.
These look like the donut holes you get from Dunkin’. Except these were soft, wet (drenched), a bit warm, and was swimming in a small pool of sweet liquid. I bet it would be great as an afternoon snack with a cup of coffee! I recommend if you’re a fan of sweets. Look elsewhere for desserts if you’re not a fan of sweets.

Overall everything was delicious! I’m loving my Indian food adventures – haven’t been disappointed yet! My favorite dish had to be the cheese naan with the chicken kali mirch and basmatic rice!
