It takes just an hour and 20 minutes from Santolan QC to Wawa Dam.
Ride a van at the parking lot in front of Jollibee Farmers, Cubao. Ask dispatcher to get you to a van going to Rodriguez, Rizal, fare is 50 pesos. Last stop of van is in Rodriguez town. Ride a tricycle for 60 pesos going to Wawa Dam.
Wawa Dam or Montalban Dam over Marikina River is in Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines, very near its town proper. Built in 1909 during the American Colonial period, the dam supplied water for Metro Manila before the Angat Dam was constructed. It's now a lovely park with free entrance. Trails and paths will lead you from the river to the dam.
