🎥 Oriah Festival Celebration | 16 February 2026
Today (16 February 2026) we celebrated Oriah, one of the most important traditional festivals of the Wancho community. Oriah is mainly celebrated in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, India, and it is a festival of prayer, happiness, and thanksgiving for a good harvest and prosperity.
Oriah is a special time when people come together to perform traditional rituals, offer prayers, sing folk songs, perform cultural dances, and enjoy community feasts. It is also a time to celebrate our culture, traditions, and unity as a community.
In this video, I have shared moments from today’s Oriah celebration — including traditional activities, festival atmosphere, and cultural performances.
