Hand-made bee hotel made from old fence posts sawn at different lengths and drilled deep in different widths to accommodate different bees. The roof is made of old feather edge fencing. As you can see it very popular, easy to make and helps the bees find somewhere to their eggs.
From spring through summer, different species of bee will build cells inside the holes and lay eggs. They'll add pollen and nectar to feed the larvae, and block the entrance to the holes with leaves, mud or other materials.
You should make one to save the bee population and help these wonderful little pollinators.
