Maymohini is a story that we all know, that we all longed for that we all wanted to hear. The serial has Dinesh Panikkar and Althara in the lead roles and also includes new actors/ actresses.

The serial Mayamohini tells the story of a bold young lady named Urmilla who is forced to change her identity as a man (Unnikrishnan) to escape from police. The theme of Mayamohini is thrilling and unique and is not the usual saga of tears. The serial take the viewers through how Urmila conquers Yamini Bhai and how she saves her sister Anu who is in Yamini Bhai’s trap.

Plot

Viswanathan, father of Urmila and Anu, is a wealthy businessman and a loving father. He brought up his two daughters single-handedly after his wife's untimely and early death. They live peacefully until one day Viswanathan goes missing. A lady named Yamini Bhai enters Viswanathan's house and claims to be his wife and mother of Anu. She tries killing Urmila, who miraculously escapes from death. Yamini believes that Urmila is dead. However, Urmila is determined to find her missing father and save her younger sister Anu from Yamini's clutches. She changes her appearance as Unnikrishnan and enters as Yamini confidant, thus gaining access to her own house and sister. Mayamohini takes the viewers through how Urmila tackles and defeats Yamini Bhai and how she saves her sister from Yamini Bhai’s trap and how she finds her missing father.
