Refried beans extra flavorful twin! If you love Refried beans you’ll want to try this smokey spice filled version that can be a meal all its own with a side of tortillas. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Please keep in mind bacon grease and chorizo are salty on their own when seasoning beans.
Ingredients:
For the pressure cooked beans
2c Pinto beans, dry (or your favorite dry bean)
1/2 small Onion or 1/4 large onion
2 Garlic cloves
2 Bay leaves
Salt to taste
Chorizo Refried Beans
3 tbsps of Oil or bacon grease
1/2 Onion diced
2-4 Garlic cloves chopped
Beans
Broth from beans
