The Brotherhood Of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen provided an update on the NJ Transit strike situation Friday morning, saying they are hoping to get this settled and that it is not a prolonged strike. The union said it believed there was a deal before negotiations ended last night and that there are currently no scheduled talks until Sunday.
