Bangladesh: ferry carrying hundreds capsizes

Описание: A passenger river ferry has capsized in central Bangladesh.

There were around 350 people on board, according to one survivor who said the captain jumped overboard when the ferry "went out of control."

Rescuers and local people have recovered at least two bodies from the water so far.

At least 44 passengers have been rescued.

The M.V. Pinak was crossing the River Padma near the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka when it capsized.
