My take:
The Kilt is a Stu G signature pedal from JHS. The v2 is smaller, has only one foot switch, but has JHS red remote functionality to switch on the G2 gain mode. Gain modes 1-3 are incremental, all in the medium-to-high territory. Gain mode 4 (both G1 and G2 switches up) is a crazy aggressive gated fuzz. I prefer the lowest gain mode – PLENTY of gain, and the EQ character is chimey and chewey and ballsy. Sounds great on bass as well. Check it out!
