Описание: Welcome to Poway. Or as I like to call it "Gringoland." Located in the northeastern part of San Diego, south of Escondido and north of Santee, this marvelous city marks the beginning of North County when heading north on Interstate 15.

Poway is claimed to be "The City in the Country" in San Diego County. This city has the suburbia feel but a country style of living.

Here you're fortunate to have the option to live in a suburban neighborhood, or in the country all blocks away from each other. From middle class family homes, to elegant multi-million dollar mansions to country acre estates Poway seem but all too real to be a perfect city.

EDCO has operated in Poway for over 17 years, after buying out a company by the name of Mashburn back in 1998, and their franchise contract was recently renewed back in 2013.
Poway is one of the very few cities that EDCO offers unlimited yard waste. According to one of the drivers, EDCO has decided to switch to FL for their yard waste collections further on due to the lower loading levels and the bigger size in trucks to carry more route of garbage, meaning no more manual side loaders. On a positive note, with EDCO phasing their unincorporated parts of San Diego into automated greens, according to the same driver, EDCO supposedly does not have plans to make the city fully greens automated just yet. In their contract with the city of Poway, EDCO offers unlimited greenwaste to it's residents (at a fare rate of course) So no plans for automation just yet for Poway, for now.

This video is a compilation of the trucks that run in Poway. There's usually an average of six residential trucks running throughout the city on a daily basis, sometimes more due to the size of the route on some of the days.
