I am not an electrical engineer, nor do I have a degree in stand mixer repair. I like making bread, and don't like throwing away mostly working stuff.

Please understand that repairing electric equipment has risks of damaging it or you. Be careful and make sure the mixer is unplugged when touching any of the internal components. Also, probably wash your hands after working on it.
