Описание: State-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Wednesday said it will acquire the government's entire 52.63% stake in Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) for about Rs.14,500 crore. Post the acquisition, both the firms will continue to remain government-owned companies, it added. Both PFC and REC are Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprises with combined annual revenues of about Rs.50,000 crore.
