In this video, I speak openly and plainly about the events surrounding Kurt’s final days.
I go over Joe’s account of a scuffle in the basement involving Kurt, Mark, and Dylan, and how Kurt was escorted out by the two while suddenly unconscious.
I also talk about what likely happened later that night in the greenhouse, around 2:00 a.m., most likely 2:32 a.m., when the gunshot appears to have gone off. This timing lines up with details connected to Mark Lanegan’s final album collaboration with Skeleton Joe.
After that moment, Dylan and Mark came back down from the greenhouse and went back into the house. Mark said nothing. The other person with Mark said nothing. Dylan was the only one talking - and he looked physically sick, like he was about to throw up.
This is based off of Joe's book and video/audio testimony, as well as some personal conversations.
