CineMaestro is an inter-school filmmaking competition at Chitkara International School. This unparalleled event is structured with a motive to unleash the creativity and filmmaking skills of the students. A series of workshops are conducted in association with Cinevidya – a path-breaking Social Enterprise initiated by Amitabha Singh (renowned cinematographer and producer known for Khosla Ka Ghosla, Chillar Party, etc) which believes in ‘Films to aid Learning. Learning to make Films.’ to give a free rein to the cinematography skills of the students. After rigorous hands-on training in the workshop using the latest technology and equipment, the students come up with their short films screened on the date of “Film Festival”, amidst which the preeminent of the lot are awarded.
