Multihyphenate actress, singer, Model and dancer Sofia Wylie. Up next, the 15-year old will star in the series reboot of the popular franchise High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for Disney+, which is set to debut later this year. On the film side, she recently starred in Back Of The Net, which will premiere on Disney Channel later this month.  
 
Wylie has become a household name for her starring role as ‘Buffy Driscoll’ on Disney Channel’s number one rated show Andi Mack for three seasons. The second season broke barriers and made history as the first Disney series to incorporate an LGBTQIA+ storyline and subsequently won a GLAAD Media Award for “Outstanding Kids & Family Programming.” In voiceovers, Wylie lent her voice to the Marvel animated short Marvel Rising: Heart Of Iron.
 
Wylie forayed into production earlier this year after launching the company AIFOS, to option and develop material highlighting strong female storylines that celebrate a diversity of cultures and experiences. Under her guidance, AIFOS has optioned the popular Young Adult novel The Fall Of Innocence by Jenny Torres Sanchez.
 
Outside of acting and producing, she also writes and performs her own music and choreographs dance pieces for various platforms. Earlier this year, Wylie released the energetic pop track and accompanying video for “Side By Side” as part of the Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts special. Additionally, she created the popular YouTube series 4K Dance to create a platform for up and coming dancers and choreographers. Wylie continues to be represented by IME Law.

Sofia Wylie currently stars in one of Disney Channel’s most talked about and award-winning series, “Andi Mack.” The coming-of-age show made history as the first Disney Channel series with an LGBTQ storyline. She just made her big screen debut with a leading title in MarVista’s “Back of the Net,” which was released theatrically in Australia in April 2019 and will have its US debut on Disney Channel on June 15, 2019.

Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Wylie, who is trained in ballet, lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz, started her performance career as a dancer. Before her on-screen work, she was chosen out of hundreds of young dancers to perform on stage with Justin Bieber for his World Tour. After studying at the world-renowned Second City Training Center in Hollywood, Wylie decided to pursue on-screen work, and get serious about the film and TV industries. In 2016, she was cast as “June,” a recurring role on “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn” on Nickelodeon.

Wylie unveiled her first-ever musical performance for the animated special “Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts,"singing an original song titled “Side By Side.” She will break further into the music space later this year with a debut single releasing in Spring 2019.

An actress, singer and dancer, Wylie can also now add "producer" to her growing list of work credentials, with AIFOS Productions, a production company that under her leadership will create film content with strong storylines.

When not filming or on stage, she choreographs her own dance routines and leads dance classes. Sheworks hard to create positive programming and messaging for young people and knows she has a responsibility to position herself as a role model.
