Ingredients
1 kg carrots (grated)
1 liter full-fat milk
200g sugar
4 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Nuts (cashews, almonds, raisins)
Combine grated carrots and milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk evaporates completely.
Add ghee and sugar to the mixture. Stir well and cook for 10-15 minutes until the halwa turns deep orange and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Mix in cardamom powder and chopped nuts. Serve warm.✨
