War of the Spark is approaching and 36 Planeswalkers, heroes and villains alike, converge on Ravnica. Nicol Bolas is scheming something big and it take a whole lot of Planeswalkers to pull off. We are seeing some odd choices such as Tibalt, Kiora, and even brand new Planeswalkers join a more traditional cast in this epic war of Magic: The Gathering. One of the new Planeswalkers making their cardboard debut to the game is Davriel Cane. Little is know about this character as they were just introduced in a short MTG novel Children of the Nameless by Brandon Sanderson. This new comer to the lore has a shrouded past and the ability to steal other mages spells and use them against his enemies. We also know Davriel may not have always been a Planeswalker, a force may have turned him into a Planeswalker. This force is known as an Entity, the lost World Soul of a dying Plane. These World Souls could be the very future of Bolas' plan and the future of MTG lore!
