1. The Mindset of the Chef

Описание: Chefs balance ingredients all the time. If they add too much of one ingredient, the dish is too salty. If they put too much of another ingredient, the dish is too sweet or becomes unhealthy. Leaders also need to follow this mindset of the chef. As leaders, you have two ingredients that you have to balance: Humanity and Technology.

You need the technology side of work because technology is what gives you speed. It's what makes you agile and nimble and what allows you to make quick decisions. It's what allows you to create products and services.

You also need the human side. Your customers, clients, and patients are all human. If you have too much of the technology component, your employees are going to pull back. Your customers might be a little bit wary of transacting and interacting with you.

Finding the right balance between the two is what makes a great leader.
