Описание: Manchester DJ, producer and NTS broadcaster Ruf Dug takes us deep into the world of Street Soul — a sound-system-rooted style of music born out of Black working-class culture in the 1980s and '90s Britain.

From a 1990 live recording of Broadway Sound in Gooch Close, Moss Side, to North London's TSR Records, Ruf Dug shares the records, stories and history that drew him into this scene.

The Listening Room is an ongoing series from The Vinyl Factory in which artists, selectors and writers explore music through focused listening and archival research.
