A difficult torrque and rotation problem fully solved to calculate the forces from the wall on the ladder. Also calculated is the max distance a person can go up the ladder before the ladder slips. We use the principle that Net force is zero and Net torque is zero because the system is static.
This problem is for High school physics student planning for AP Physics 1, IIT/JEE, College student of Physics and Engineering.
