Master Tower Floor 4 Ex 1 Clear | Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent

Описание: After failing a bunch of times, I made one more team and lost again before checking out ‪@PrimismyEX‬'s clear of this and seeing that he used the same team comp, so I based my strategy off of his. But I didn't realize Jose could drop elem. def. down 25% by himself, so now this is basically a scuffed version of that clear.

Here's the key points:

• Devin, Madeline, and Cedric all needed to be faster than the NPC

Devin needs to be that fast so Jose switch in and out safely. Since Jose acts after the mercenary and Devin acts before, Jose can avoid attacks for the most part.

Madeline and Cedric being faster just made breaking more safe, and helped with that needed extra damage at the end. Not sure they need to be faster for that extra damage if you use withering oracle and withering oracle II

Madeline should be faster than Cedric so she can buff Cerna in the same turn that Cedric switches in to shield shave.

• Laura passive + Varkyn A4 = 9 turns 30% passive e def down.

• Heinz A4 lower dark res by 10% at the start for 3 (extended to 4) turns, and Wingate's A4 stacks on the first break for 20% passive dark res down for an extra 2 turns. Only works if whoever has Heinz's A4 also has Kurt'z A4,

Kurtz A4 extends ailments for one turn, but it only works if the person afflicting the ailment is in the front. That's why Laura with Heinz A4 starts in the front to extend the dark res down duration. Definitely wasted some attempts trying to figure out why it wouldn't extend.
