I've seen some marbled pots that were slip cast. I thought they were pretty cool and wanted to try myself! I put a bit of regular slip at the bottom of my plaster mold, dripped in a bit of slip colored with mason stain, and then swirled the slip around the inside of the mold. After bisque firing I had one casualty! But the rest I glazed with clear and made it out of the final glaze firing. I think they turned out well for a first try!
