Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar
market building issue has been
resolved, said reports on Thrsday,
shops are slated to reopen from 1l am
today.
The highly popular shopping
destination Unit-2 Market building in
Bhubaneswar had been closed for an
indefinite period from July 17, said
reports.
The Market Building Shop Owners
Association had issued a warning to the
BMC stating that the Bhubaneswar
market building will be closed if the
dispute between the association and
make shift stall owners remains
unresolved.

It is worth mentioning that, market
building was closed for a span of 18 days
on the demand of removing the
makeshift shopkeepers.
The shop owners have allegedly been
facing a lot of problems due to the
presence of the makeshift stalls. Apart
from this, the stalls are creating
unavoidable problems at the
Bhubaneswar Market Building.
It is to be noted that the makeshift
shops will be shifted to a designated
place allotted by the Bhubaneswar
Municipal Corporation (BMC). Detailed
