Tutorial: Controlling an Arduino with an Infrared (IR) Remote Control

Описание: This tutorial was developed for the MAKE course at the University of South Florida (www.makecourse.com). This tutorial discusses the basics of IR remote controls at the example of the NEC protocol and the YK-001 remote. A simple Arduino sketch is explored that interprets IR transmissions, and the principles of carrier frequency modulated transmissions are discussed. At the end of the tutorial, the use of a popular Arduino library (IRremote.h) is shown and the control via an old SONY remote is demonstrated.
