SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS: MORE THAN 30 PEOPLE KILLED IN FRESH FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACK

Описание: Several questions are being raised yet there are no answers to the senseless killings of people of majorly the Middlebelt region extraction of Nigeria. A recent attack by the Fulani herdsmen on Benue communities have seen scores of people killed and maimed while hundreds are continuously rendered homeless.
This video is one that happened in a community in a LGA of southern Kaduna. Government and security officials have continued to label these mindless killings as clashes between herders and natives who are mostly farmers of fishermen. But as these continue to happen, it seems that this is not a matter of clash but a well targeted and carefully launched attack.
The events of this video are saddening, heart-wrenching and deep mind-troubling and no sane person would want this to go on without instant arrest.
Since the start of the Buhari administration as Nigerian executive power, very little or nothing at all has been done, or maybe we should say, nothing has been effectively done to curb this particular menace of insecurity from either terrorists groups, bandits, kidnappers or train hijackers.
The governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai would prefer to rather sue the Federal government on other less-meaningful issues like the redesign of the naira than attend to more critical issues as this.
The question is, for how long shall this continue to linger? Just how long?
Nigerians seems to have been too quiet without calling the government officials and security parastatals at both state and federal levels to accountability. For how long shall these senseless killings, maiming and attacks continue to happen in our states and nation at large.
Every cry has been made to the governments at all levels, particularly in these affected areas of the Middlebelt but it seems they have been falling on deaf ears.
We need to collectively as Nigerians call out the government at all levels especially in the affected areas to rise up to their responsibility of holding the scepter of power.
