Unlike the Masamune Shirow manga exhibition that I covered last year, this exhibition focuses solely on the animation production art for all of the Ghost in the Shell animated films & tv series, focusing mostly on the original 1995 masterpiece directed by Mamoru Oshii, its underappreciated sequel Innocence -- and the fan favorite television series, Stand Alone Complex.

...you might even get a sneak peak at some pre-production art from the new Science Saru series 😎

Another thing that makes this exhibit VERY different is the fact that it is located 250 meters in the sky at the top of one of Tokyo's tallest skyscrapers.

I was definitely suffering from a bit of vertigo... but well worth it!
